The Practice provides a full range of general medical services and also provides the following through appointment only:

Other community services currently available at the practice are:
โ€ข Childhood Immunisation and vaccinations โ€“ appointments are sent directly from child health
โ€ข Midwife appointments โ€“ booked through the midwife service

Appointments

To make an appointment with your GP please telephone the surgery on 01821 642248. Every effort will be made to accommodate your needs for preferred time and GP/ANP.

The Listening Service

People can discover their strength and find hope by sharing whatโ€™s on their mind with someone who knows how to listen. 50 minute appointments. NES trained, experienced Listener. For anyone experiencing loss, illness, low mood, difficult relationships or life transitions Call 0796 777 1941 - 9am-5pm Mon-Fri

Hearing Aid Batteries

These will be sent out directly to you - Call 01738 626969

Work within the Practice 2 days a week

Physiotherapy

An appointment to see or to speak to a physiotherapist can be booked by reception for new problems (these appointments will be in Perth)

Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions can be obtained by phoning 01821 642248 and choosing option 2 or you can hand in your repeat prescription order slip (given to you when you collect any regular medication) tick the items required and leave it at reception or in the post box outside. We will accept written requests at reception.

Unless otherwise stated your prescription will be passed to the Carse Chemist for dispensing within 72 hours.

If preferred a paper script can be collected from the surgery, but please state that when ordering.

Sick/Fit Note

If you feel you require time off work you are able to contact the reception and request a sick line. Please give brief details to your problem and depending on the information provided and the available information in your notes, you may or may not need to see a clinician.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Test Results

Please note it is the patient’s responsibility to contact the surgery for their results. Please contact reception after 3pm. Reception are unable to give anyone other than yourself your results unless we have written consent.

Travel & Vaccinations

The surgery no longer provides any advice regarding travel or vaccinations. There is an information website provided by NSH Forth Valley which is Travel Health Service – NHS Forth Valley Travel Vaccinations. There are also other travel clinics locally who may be able to help you with your travel queries.
