Mackintosh at the Willow.
This project comprised of the restoration and reinstatement of the historic interior elements of the iconic Category A listed original Mackintosh Tea Rooms at 215-217 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow to create Mackintosh at the Willow.
The original Mackintosh Tea Rooms were designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1903 and required restoration to ensure the building is celebrated and enjoyed by future generations.
The project comprised of the creation of restored tea rooms, a new exhibition and visitor centre, learning and education suite, retail store and conference facilities. A commercial kitchen was also installed as part of the tearooms and conference facilities.
As part of this project, our Manufactured Joinery Division produced over 20 bespoke items, including bench seating, a bar/servery, baldacchino, ceiling grid, screens, wall linings and a fireplace.
