Our Academy, managed by our Learning and Development team promotes learning and development ensuring we are continually bringing new talent into the organisation and supporting existing employees to achieve appropriate qualifications. Over 20% of our staff are currently studying at college or university. New entrants into our Academy are supported not only by their line managers but by trained mentors who are either in the Academy themselves or have progressed through the Academy to a more senior role.

We are an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) which allows us to control the quality, efficiency and delivery of training. We have an internal Training Working Group made up of employees from across the company who are responsible for identifying and implementing new training initiatives.

In June 2015 we joined the 5% Club, an industry lead initiative focussed on driving momentum into the recruitment of apprentices, graduates and sponsored students. The aim of the campaign is to tackle both the chronic skills shortage and youth unemployment in Britain and help the country remain at the forefront of innovation. We currently hold a gold accredited membership.
