Gordon started his career in 1988 at Doig & Smith where he qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. After 7 years he then moved on to work with a major construction and fit out contractor before joining Clark Contracts in 1999 as General Manager, and then becoming Deputy Managing Director in 2003 and then Managing Director in 2005.
Gordon has been instrumental in the growth of the company, and since his appointment as Managing Director, the business has increased turnover from £30m to over £100m, whilst increasing their geographic coverage, having now delivered projects across the UK.
With over 250 employees, Gordon has also been heavily involved in shaping the company’s people development strategy. Notably, Gordon led the formation of the company’s award-winning Academy in 2006 which currently has 41 trainees and apprentices enrolled and since being formed, has supported over 350 trainees and apprentices into the industry.

Gerry joined Clark Contracts as a graduate of Glasgow Caledonian University, with a BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying.
Gerry’s career started in the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor, before progressing to Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager and then Business Unit Manager for the contractors Small Works Division in 2011. He then became a Shareholder and Director in 2013.
Gerry is the Director responsible for our Small Works, Fit Out and Manufactured Joinery Divisions.

Michael trained as a Quantity Surveyor at Wakemans before spending time at a major Scottish main contractor before moving to Barbados for 4 years where he was General Manager of a design and build contractor delivering projects up to $120m. He joined Clark Contracts in 2006 as Quantity Surveyor, progressing to Senior Quantity Surveyor and then Commercial Manager before being appointed Business Unit Manager for Construction Division in 2011 before becoming a Shareholder and Director in 2013.
Michael oversees the delivery of Construction, Housing and Retail projects and has been instrumental in the strategic development of our design and build offering.

Danny started his career in the industry as an apprentice bricklayer, working with a well-established Scottish main contractor to progress to Site Manager and then Project Manager for over 15 years. He then joined Clark Contracts in 2005 as Project Manager, before being promoted to Contracts Manager in 2011 and then Operations Manager for our Construction Division in 2017.
After almost 20 years with us, Danny was promoted to Operations Director for our Construction, Housing and Retail Divisions in 2023.
